The Intermediate Level includes the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.

Since Computer class only meets once a week, if an assignment is not completed, an Unsatisfactory grade and a zero will be issued for that assignment, the first time.  Thereafter, if an assignment is not completed, a demerit will also be issued.

The Third grade will start the year off with a homework assignment to create a draft of "What They Want to Learn in Third Grade."  They will work in Kid Pix to create a picture and a sentence or two about what they want to learn in Third grade.  A slide show will be prepared so that everyone can see what they want to learn about this year.  Third grade will also be working on their typing skills this year.  The third grade will continue with Kidspiration to improve their writing skills.

The Fourth Grade will continue improving their typing skills.  They will also learn how to create multi-media presentations in HyperStudio.  Webquests will  be completed to help with research and reading skills.  Inspiration will be introduced in fourth grade.

The Fifth Grade  will be working to improve their accuracy levels utilizing the home row.  They know that speed will follow.  We will learn about databases, the QUALITY Information Checklist for websites, and many other interesting topics.  We will be using Inspiration in the Computer Lab and in the classroom.
