First Grade just completed their I am Special Ceremony. For I am Special the children designed a Kid Pix picture that was ironed on their T-shirts. A PowerPoint presentation with all of their designs is included below. Just click on the link. First grade will be working on their keyboarding skills next trimester. They will color code keyboards to use at home. They should practice their home row keys at least once or twice a week. Second grade will also be working on keyboarding skills. We will be practicing on the computers and use color-coded keyboards for at-home practice. The second grade should review their color-coded keyboards for five minutes every night.
